Travel Essentials: What´s in my bag?

Have you ever wondered what women carry around with them in their big bags? It’s a mystery, well it was until now. In this post I want to share what’s in my bag with a little twist and share what I take with me when I am travelling.

Being a very curious person I love reading these posts and seeing what other people keep in their bag. They are not just fun to read but also help me find new things to keep in my bag to be prepared for everything. So maybe after reading this you will also have a new addition in your bag. Let’s get started 🙂

Travel documents

When you are traveling it’s very important to have all your documents safe and in one place and for that I use a passport wallet. It holds your passport, your boarding pass, ID and money. You have everything in one place and easy to reach.

Entertainment

It can get boring at the airport especially when you have a long layover and no free wifi available. For this case I always have one or two magazines and my iPod with me. The best part is they are light weight.

Freshen up and care kit

When you have been travelling for hours you want to get fresh before reaching to your destination and for that I keep a freshen up kit.

This kit includes

  • Facial cleansing wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • A little hair brush
  • Mouth freshener
  • Lip balm
  • hand cream

Make – up kit

After hours of traveling your make – up doesn’t look like it did when you left the house and or that I like to keep a little make – up kit in my bag with only the basics like foundation, blush, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner and perfume.

The little ladies bag

Just to be on the safe side I always have a little bag with stuff for that time of the month because you never know when your body decides to make life more difficult for you.

Some Extras

Pocket tissues are a must have for me you never know when you are going to need them and it’s good to have on hand when that time comes. A new addition to my travel bag is a selfie stick. I love how you can take pictures from a distance and it looks like someone else took it for you. And another thing is socks. As I mentioned in my The Wanderlust Tag post I get really cold feet on flights and like to take my socks with me. I also have gum with me because chewing it during takeoff and landing it prevent your ears from getting clogged.

And that’s it. That’s all the stuff I actually carry around with me when I am travelling. I hope you liked this post and got some inspirations for your own travel bag.

  10. Nice check-list for travel. A little towards the girly side, but I understand this is a personal post so obviously it will be that. I’m a huge fan of having some form of entertainment handy while travelling and thanks to the ipad it’s pretty easy now.
